Block of the month/ MYSTERY QUILT
BLOCK OF THE MONTH / MYSTERY QUILT
Back by popular request, our Block of the Month Event introduced last year will continue for 2020-2021 Participants will have the chance to learn how to construct and use some new blocks in each of five sessions:
Here is a chance for beginning and experienced quilters alike to learn more about rulers, cutting, making that perfect 1/4” seam, and more. You can make the blocks just for practice, for a project of your own, or for a donation quilt. (Fabric will be available if you choose this option.) No need to sign up in advance -- drop ins welcome!
- Each session will introduce a new block, and participants will have hands on practice constructing the block under the guidance of an experienced quilter. Participants are asked to bring their machines and supplies. (A list of what to bring will be posted on this page in advance of each session.)

2020-2021 Block of the Month
2019-2020 Mystery Quilt
Susan has found a Mystery Quilt project for the group!
The resulting quilt will be 60” X 60 “without a border. This can be rearranged to create two baby quilts if this is preferred.
The colour palette for this project is based on a three-colour choice, one dark, one medium and one light. A scrappy version can be considered, but keep the fabrics in each group similar in depth of colour. One colour choice should be consistent to avoid the result being too scrappy! It does not matter which one you choose to be consistent.
Here are the fabric requirements. You can download the file to your device.
