KELOWNA FASHION WEEK |
The Orchard Valley Quilter's Collective appeared for the first time in Kelowna Fashion Week 2025. Members designed and created one of a kind garment pieces. The showcase extended over two days. Friday night showcased garments made from new materials. Saturday's show highlighted upcycled garments made from gently loved pieces or household fabrics.
Guild members Karen Blumel, Maureen Clayton and Debra Klockenbrink were excited to model their own quilted pieces. Other people modelled the pieces made by Kathryn Forth, Susie Greenwell, Laurie Turik, Evelyn Roxburgh, and Evelyn Schmaltz.
A fun time was had by all. The garments made by quilt members were highly received by the models and the viewing public.
