Special Event : Rotary Art Centre :
The display will be the Foyer of the Rotary Art Centre starting February 25, 2022

Our Guild has been invited to use the Display Cases at the Rotary Art Centre this spring. These display will display the talents of members of our Guild. This is a great opportunity to advertise our upcoming Quilt Show in May 2022!
From the Rotary Arts Display Team…

We need your help!

We are asking the Guild Members to bring to the February 8th Guild meeting a fibre or fabric piece they wish to submit for consideration to display at the RCA.  All submissions will be considered but we likely won’t be able to showcase everything.  We hope members will understand and not be offended if we don’t use their art.

We will also accept pieces on February 15th but would prefer to receive them on the 8th. For those who want to contribute, please submit 1 or 2 items to help us manage volume.

There will be 3 display cases. the first rotation will be:
(It’s possible that we will modify the monthly layout at our first installation.)

1. Smarties art - quilts including NICU
2. Modern - small pieces and quilts
3. Handfuls - wool and hand work

Maximum quilt width for a displayed quilt  is 37”.
Please pin a piece of paper on the top right with your name and project name. Make sure the paper is pinned securely!
The display case art will be updated every 4 weeks until they are removed on May 25.

Also, we plan to have small display cards inside the display cabinet. Would members prefer an abbreviated last name such as ‘Patty S.’ for privacy reasons?  Please let us know with your submission.
If you feel we should hand pick the submissions we can do that instead. We don’t want to offend anyone should their art not be selected.

Thanks in advance.
