Felicity Ronaghan Bio (updated 2023)
Felicity Ronaghan has been quiltng for about 25 years. From the first minute of her first learn-to-quilt class, she knew she’d discovered her “thing.” Her discovery of the world of Modern Quiltng in 2010 had a profound impact on her style. She is as comfortable with improv as she is with a precise 1⁄4” seam but the modern aesthetic is what speaks to her.
Over the years, Felicity has writen patterns, developed and taught workshops and had a paQern published in the book Make It, Take It, by Krista Hennebury. Felicity has also had her work displayed at the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild shows, the QuiltCon quilt show and. As a member of BeeSewcial, an online improv-only bee that works exclusively in solids, Felicity has contributed to many award-winning group quilts including Best in Show at QuiltCon in 2019. In October 2022, BeeSewcial had an exhibit at the Internatonal Quilt Fes;val in Houston, TX where over two dozen of the BeeSewcial quilts were displayed including three of Felicity’s.

Quilt for Survivors :
The quilts will be distributed to the recipients of the West Kelowna First Nation in a gifting ceremony. Canoes will leave from Kelowna to the beach at Westbank and a gifting ceremony will follow. Quilters are welcome to attend.
